I just got some "spicy dill pickle' peanuts that are inedible, and while I hate to admit sacrilege I like Moxie (delivered in the dead of night in a brown paper bag), just to prove strong flavor is not an inherent obstacle. No spicy. No pickle - they didn't ever whisper vinegar to these peanuts. Just DILL, dill to the tenth power. That night I dreamed I....no too gruesome, I'll spare you. Now a properly fried dill pickle is a joy, but these damn Yankees and their lack of understanding how spices work.....bless their hearts.
